Kehlani Parrish is an American R&B singer and songwriter born on 24th April 1995 in Oakland, California. She grew up with her aunt after the death of her father and frequent imprisonment of her mother. She attended the Oakland School for Arts mainly focus on dance and later admitted at the Juilliard School. She belongs to a mixed ethnic group and holds an American Nationality.

Kehlani started her musical career with the involvement in a pop group called “PopLyfe” which is famous for numerous local shows and musical festivals in different places.

She made her first solo track “ANTISUMMERLUV” which got high attention and later she released Cloud 19 album featuring the song “Till the Morning” in 2014 which was listed on the top 50 Pop albums chart. Kehlani released her second mixtape “You Should Be Here” in 2015 which was ranked top 5 on the national R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

After her successful album, she was signed to Atlantic Records in 2015. Later she was named among the “Top 10 New Artists You Need to Know” by the Rolling Stone same year. Kehlani's high popularity got her nominated for the prestigious Grammy awards for the “Best Urban Contemporary Album” in 2016.

Kehlani had dated several guys till now. She has currently dated NBA point guard Kyrie Irving which later turned into a big controversy across the Twitter after they broke up. A Big chunk of Kehlani's earning comes from the tours and royalties that she receives from her musical career and her recent is net estimated to be around U.S $ 300 thousand.
