Biography

Pedro Henrique Lisboa Santos aka C4 PEDRO, was born in Luanda (Angola), in the neighborhood of Sambizanga, but took his first steps in music in Belgium, where he lived for 10 years.

C4 PEDRO is one of the most influential Angolan musicians of the new generation. Multifaceted, C4 PEDRO is a musician, composer, producer and performer.

In 2007, C4 PEDRO released his debut album “Lágrimas – Um Só Povo Uma Só Canção” in Belgium, which was later released (2009) in Angola, upon his return to his homeland.

His second record of originals, “Calor e Frio”, hits the shelves in 2011 and catapulted the artist's career, exponentially increasing his notoriety. The tour of this album, the result of the excellent performance of the hit songs “Dá Só”, “Calor e Frio”, “Pokémon e Picachu”, “Casamento” and “Bo Tem Mel” (theme produced by him and sung and written in with Nelson Freitas) takes the musician and producer to sell out for the first time the Coliseu dos Recreios in July 2013.

2013 saw the birth of the B4 project (C4 PEDRO and BIG NELO), which took the music industry by storm with the hit “É Melhor Não Duvidar”. The video of the theme reached around 25 million views on YouTube since then, and the duo toured several countries on tour until the end of the project in September 2015, not before selling out Campo Pequeno in Lisbon (May 2014), filling the Coliseu dos Recreios (October 2014) and performed at various events and festivals, including Meo Sudoeste. The CD/DVD “Los Compadres – Ao Vivo em Lisboa”, recorded in May 2014 during the sold-out show at Campo Pequeno and released at the end of 2014, remained at the top of the national sales chart in Portugal for a long time.

The music video for the theme “Quem Sera (O Verdadeiro Amor)”, registered more than 500,000 views in just 2 weeks and went directly to the top of the most viewed videos on YouTube in Portugal.

Between 2014 and 2015, C4 PEDRO's solo career has been quite prominent throughout Europe, where the musician and producer participated in events and festivals such as Meo Sudoeste (Lisbon), África Dançar (Milan), among many others. The musician and producer is currently the most sought after by several national and international artists, and has also been involved in several hits such as “Bo Tem Mel” (Nelson Freitas), “Fica Parado” (Pérola), among many others.

C4 PEDRO’s versatility and versatility led him to recently participate in the Portuguese telenovela “A Única Mulher” and to voice two of the characters in the animated film “HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2”, which premieres in Portugal on December 10, 2015. C4 Pedro is part of the cast of the Portuguese version, along with Rita Pereira and João Manzarra, among others, who give life to these characters in the film.
