As a songwriter, Nea has written songs for Zara Larsson, Tove Styrke, Tinie Tempah and Axwell. One of her best known songs, Lush Life, on which she is a co-writer, has reached the top charts all over the world, and has been certified 10 times platinum in Sweden.

Lush Life went number one in Sweden, Poland and Mexico as well as hitting the top 10 in many other countries, including a number three spot in the UK.

Nea also wrote TG4M for Zara Larsson on her last studio album and has credits on Tinie Tempah’s top 10 album ‘Youth’, Skott’s song ‘Wolf’, Grey’s ‘Crime’ and co-wrote and featured on the Jaded single ‘In The Morning’.

She also recently released singles with Tove Stryke and also Axwell and has worked with artists including Anne Marie, Wiz Kid, Era Istrefi and Jason Derulo.

On December 22, 2019 Nea was on site one as singer and three as songwriter on the Swedish top with the songs "Some say" and "Celebrate Christmas with me" (sung by Linnea Henriksson ).

The song "Some say" is, according to Södahl, "about love that you cannot achieve but still cannot give up", and is written after a conversation with a gay friend who is in love with a friend who is in a heterosexual relationship.

The music video was shot in Barcelona, and has real love pairs instead of actors so you can see the feeling and not played love.
